2019: structuring the administrative and pedagogical management of the school
In addition to the ongoing funding of the canteen throughout the school year, a thorough evaluation of the collaboration with Beraca school and the use of funds will be completed in 2019. The main objective is to help the school management to better structure its administrative and financial management, in order to ensure total transparency in the use of the funds sent each month by the association.
Following a natural deterioration of the infrastructure, part of the funds will be used to repair and replace toilets, stoves and the outdoor playground during the summer holidays.

2018: Creation of a computer laboratory with 8 computers
Thanks to the support of Ti-Sourire asbl, the Beraca School was able to buy eight computers and install a computer laboratory. Computer and word processing courses are organized for both children and adults.

Creation of a children's playground
A children's playground has been set up in the schoolyard for kindergarten pupils (even if the older ones also have fun!)
Production of a presentation video
In order to promote the activities of Ti-Sourire in Haiti and its achievements at Beraca School, a video was recorded during Claudio's annual visit. This video will be distributed by the association and donors to promote the project.
2017: Construction of a wall around Beraca school
In order to protect the school, a wall has been erected all around the compound.
Donations of school supplies and kitchen appliances
We took advantage of a visit by members of the Ti-Sourire donor network to bring household appliances for the kitchen, at the request of the cooks and the principal.

2016: Construction of school benches and classroom walls
The summer holidays of 2016 were used to build school benches and classroom walls; until now, the children would sit on the ground during class. A new transformer was also installed, following the damage caused by Hurricane Matthew.

2015: installation of a new water pump
In 2015, a new, more powerful water pump and a structure to protect the well were installed. The construction of the library, teachers' room and principal's office was also completed during the summer months.

2014: construction of a well
The construction of a well and the installation of a water pump on the school grounds has begun, as well as the installation of "hard" sidewalks around the classrooms.Based on the director's suggestion, it was decided to supplement the teachers' salaries with a portion of the funds raised.

2013: construction of a kitchen
In order to facilitate meal preparation and ensure better hygiene, a "real" kitchen was built, with a large freezer.
